Field Museum - Halls of the Ancient Americas Exhibit

The Halls of the Ancient Americas Exhibit at Chicago’s Field Museum tells the story of the Western Hemisphere’s cultures and civilizations, including the story of the Aztec, Inca, and Maya. A number of artifacts and replicas related to Tenochtitlan are on display, including a full-size replica of the Aztec Sun Stone, and a replica of Teotihuacan, an ancient city revered by the people of Tenochtitlan, and which today is an important archeological site on the outskirts of Mexico City. 

The Field Museum will have Free Admission Days for Illinois residents on Monday, August 23 and Thursday, August 26. Families with valid EBT (Link) or WIC cards are eligible for $3-per-person Basic admission for up to six people any day - please show your valid EBT (Link) or WIC card when you purchase tickets at the museum. Chicago residents can also check out a free museum pass from their alderperson or the Chicago Public Library.
